Infant Program

Program

Our Infant Classroom has been designed to provide warmth and security and to respond to your baby’s needs. Our goal is to give you peace of mind, while we care for your child in a caring, and engaging environment.

Inside Your Child's Day

Your child's teacher holds, rocks, sings to, smiles at, and explores the classroom with the children daily and also, but not limited to:

  • Individual and small group experiences, so your child can explore and learn from others.
  • Outdoor Play and Exploring.
  • Each week the caregiver will create an individualized lesson plan for your child, though some activities may be repeated.
  • The lesson plan is unique to your child, with at least 5 activities geared toward your child's individual needs and development. This is posted weekly.

Tummy Time

Infants spend the majority of their time on their backs (in cribs, car seats, and strollers). We practice Tummy Time in which they lay on their stomach while awake and while being supervised. Tummy Time helps your baby develop their arm, chest, and neck muscles and promotes motor skills, while enjoying their environment. Tummy Time also helps your baby build the strength needed for sitting up, rolling over, crawling, and walking.
